तमोयुक्ताः क्षपा यत्र बहुलेषु न मानवाः । रजोयुजः स्त्रियो यत्र न धर्मबहुला नराः
tamoyuktāḥ kṣapā yatra bahuleṣu na mānavāḥ | rajoyujaḥ striyo yatra na dharmabahulā narāḥ
On tient pour déchue cette région où les nuits sont imprégnées de ténèbres et où, parmi la multitude, la vraie humanité est rare ; où les femmes sont liées à une passion agitée et où les hommes ne sont pas riches en dharma.
