समातृदैवतोभिज्ञः केवलं राजवर्त्मनि । न वेद काननाध्वानं क्षणं दध्यौ नृपात्मजः

samātṛdaivatobhijñaḥ kevalaṃ rājavartmani | na veda kānanādhvānaṃ kṣaṇaṃ dadhyau nṛpātmajaḥ

Ne connaissant que les divinités du foyer et de sa mère, et seulement les routes royales, le fils du roi ignorait le sentier de la forêt ; un instant, il réfléchit.
