हितोपदेष्टा हितकृदहितात्यहितः सदा । रूपवाञ्छीलसंपन्नो गुणवान्देशकालवित्

hitopadeṣṭā hitakṛdahitātyahitaḥ sadā | rūpavāñchīlasaṃpanno guṇavāndeśakālavit

Il enseignait ce qui est salutaire, accomplissait ce qui est salutaire et demeurait toujours loin de ce qui nuit. Beau d’aspect, riche de bonne conduite, vertueux, sachant discerner le lieu et le temps, il était un modèle.
