Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 28

वेदवेदार्थतत्त्वज्ञः कलासु कुशलोऽमलः । पारदृश्वा तु सर्वेषां शास्त्राणां नीतिवित्तमः

vedavedārthatattvajñaḥ kalāsu kuśalo'malaḥ | pāradṛśvā tu sarveṣāṃ śāstrāṇāṃ nītivittamaḥ

Il connaissait l’essence des Veda et la vérité de leurs sens ; sans tache, il excellait dans les arts. Il avait pleinement pénétré tous les śāstra et se tenait au premier rang pour comprendre le dharma et la juste conduite du pouvoir.
