Transliteration

dama dāna dayā kṣāṃti śauceṃdriya vinigrahāḥ | asteya satyāhiṃsāśca sarveṣāṃ dharmahetavaḥ

Translation

Maîtrise de soi, don, compassion, patience, pureté et discipline des sens ; avec l’absence de vol, la véracité et la non-violence : tels sont les fondements qui soutiennent le dharma pour tous.
