Transliteration

taṭetaṭepaṭuvaṭairuccaiḥpaṭakuṭī vṛtam | kuṭajastabakairbhāṃtamadhiṣṭhitabakairiva

Translation

Le long de chaque rive, il était ceint de banians hauts et vigoureux, comme si le rivage portait un anneau de huttes de feuillage; et il brillait de grappes de fleurs de kuṭaja, tel un perchoir de hérons blancs rendu lumineux par les oiseaux posés.
