अशोकदत्त उवाच । मातर्मत्स्कंधमारुह्य देह्यस्मै शीतलं जलम् । सा तथेति तमाभाष्य तरुणी त्वरयान्विता
aśokadatta uvāca | mātarmatskaṃdhamāruhya dehyasmai śītalaṃ jalam | sā tatheti tamābhāṣya taruṇī tvarayānvitā
Aśokadatta dit : «Mère, monte sur mon épaule et donne-lui de l’eau fraîche.» Répondant : «Qu’il en soit ainsi», la jeune femme, pressée, s’exécuta aussitôt.
