बाष्कलं पट्टिशेनापि चक्रेणापि तथांतिकम् । प्राहिणोद्यमलोकाय दुर्गा देवी द्विजोत्तमाः

bāṣkalaṃ paṭṭiśenāpi cakreṇāpi tathāṃtikam | prāhiṇodyamalokāya durgā devī dvijottamāḥ

Ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés, la Déesse Durgā envoya Bāṣkala au royaume de Yama—à son terme—par la hache de guerre (paṭṭiśa) et aussi par son disque, au corps à corps.
