Type: kshetra
Listener: Śambhu (Śiva)
Scene: A thorny wasteland of fear under a dark sky; the devotee sinks into shadowy mire. Śiva (Śambhu) appears as a luminous guide, extending a hand and pointing toward the radiant coastal temple of Rāmeśvara.
When overwhelmed by fear and ignorance, one should seek Śiva’s guidance toward the auspicious way—symbolized by approaching Rāmeśvara.
Rāmeśvara (Rameshwaram) at Setu-tīrtha, presented as the ‘auspicious path’ and a destination of saving grace.
No specific rite is stated; the verse functions as a direct petition to be led to the tīrtha and its worship.
