Gavaya
Tirtha: Rāmeśvara
Type: kshetra
Scene: Gavaya offers flowers to the moon-crested Śiva symbolized by a liṅga crowned with a crescent; behind, the world rests upon a cosmic pillar, while a sickly haze labeled ‘saṃsāra’ clears into bright air around the shrine.
Śiva at Rāmeśvara is praised as the sustaining Lord and as the cure for the suffering inherent in saṃsāra.
Rāmeśvaram/Setu, through the epithet Rāmanātha.
No explicit rite; the act is vandana (reverential bowing/praise) as devotional practice.
