पुत्रानुत्पादनाच्चैव पितृणामृणवान्भवेत् । विनापि ब्रह्मचर्येण विना यागं विना सुतम्
putrānutpādanāccaiva pitṛṇāmṛṇavānbhavet | vināpi brahmacaryeṇa vinā yāgaṃ vinā sutam
Et en n’engendrant pas de fils, on devient débiteur envers les Pitṛs. Même sans brahmacarya, sans sacrifice et sans descendance, le poids de la dette demeure.
