Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 97

दशकृत्वोऽथ देव्यै च कुर्यात्सौ रीमुपस्थितिम् । सहस्रपरमां देवीं शतमध्यां दशावराम्

daśakṛtvo'tha devyai ca kuryātsau rīmupasthitim | sahasraparamāṃ devīṃ śatamadhyāṃ daśāvarām

Ensuite, dix fois encore, qu’on accomplisse l’upasthiti (culte d’invocation) envers la Déesse solaire; la Déesse est suprême dans le compte de mille, moyenne dans celui de cent, et moindre dans celui de dix, selon la mesure du japa.
