ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । उपास्ते यश्च लिखितं रक्तपादैस्तु वाडवाः । ज्ञातिश्रेष्ठः स विज्ञेयो वलिर्देयस्ततः परम्
brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | upāste yaśca likhitaṃ raktapādaistu vāḍavāḥ | jñātiśreṣṭhaḥ sa vijñeyo valirdeyastataḥ param
Les brāhmaṇas dirent : «Celui qui vénère cet écrit rédigé par les Vāḍavas, aux pieds peints de rouge, doit être reconnu comme le premier du clan ; ensuite, l’offrande—le bali—doit être donnée.»
