तच्छ्रुत्वा दारुणं वाक्यं द्विजाः कोपाकुलास्तदा । सहस्व रामकोपं हि साम्प्रतञ्च हनूमतः

tacchrutvā dāruṇaṃ vākyaṃ dvijāḥ kopākulāstadā | sahasva rāmakopaṃ hi sāmpratañca hanūmataḥ

Entendant ces paroles cruelles, les brāhmaṇas furent saisis de colère. Ils dirent : « À présent, endure la fureur de Rāma — et, en cet instant même, celle de Hanūmān aussi. »
