Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 31
यदा तु वृत्तिं ग्रामांश्च वणिजानां बलिं तथा । पूर्वं स्थितं तु यत्किंचित्तत्तद्दास्यति वाडवाः
yadā tu vṛttiṃ grāmāṃśca vaṇijānāṃ baliṃ tathā | pūrvaṃ sthitaṃ tu yatkiṃcittattaddāsyati vāḍavāḥ
Mais lorsque (le roi) accordera des allocations de subsistance, des villages, et aussi les redevances coutumières des marchands, tout ce qui avait été fixé auparavant, il le donnera tel quel, ô Vāḍavāḥ.
