वेदोदितां विधायापि हिंसां पापैर्न लिप्यते । विप्राणां वचनं श्रुत्वा पुनर्वचनमब्रवीत्

vedoditāṃ vidhāyāpi hiṃsāṃ pāpairna lipyate | viprāṇāṃ vacanaṃ śrutvā punarvacanamabravīt

«Même si l’on accomplit la violence énoncée par le Veda, on n’est pas souillé par le péché.» Ayant entendu les paroles des brāhmaṇas, il reprit la parole en réplique.
