दिनेदिने प्रहर्षोभूज्जनानां तत्र वासिनाः । पठंति स्म द्विजास्तत्र ऋग्युजुःसामलक्षणान्

dinedine praharṣobhūjjanānāṃ tatra vāsināḥ | paṭhaṃti sma dvijāstatra ṛgyujuḥsāmalakṣaṇān

Jour après jour, la joie s’élevait parmi les habitants de ce lieu. Là, les dvija récitaient les Veda—Ṛg, Yajus et Sāman—avec leurs marques justes et les disciplines du chant.
