Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 54

विमुच्य निर्ययौ रामः ससैन्यः सपरिच्छदः । गजवाजिसहस्रौघै रथैर्यानैश्च कोटिभिः

vimucya niryayau rāmaḥ sasainyaḥ saparicchadaḥ | gajavājisahasraughai rathairyānaiśca koṭibhiḥ

Alors Rāma s’en alla—délivré et prêt—avec son armée et tout l’apparat royal, au milieu de flots de milliers d’éléphants et de chevaux, et de chars et véhicules par crores.
