Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 12
जन्मन्यस्मिन्प्रभो भूयात्स्थातव्यं हृदये मम । एवमस्तु शिवः प्राह तत्र तं दानवेश्वरम्
janmanyasminprabho bhūyātsthātavyaṃ hṛdaye mama | evamastu śivaḥ prāha tatra taṃ dānaveśvaram
«En cette même naissance, ô Seigneur, qu’il en soit ainsi, et que cela demeure fixé dans mon cœur.» Là, Śiva répondit à ce seigneur des Dānavas : «Qu’il en soit ainsi.»
