चकार बहुदानानि लोकानां हितकाम्यया । यावदर्चयते ह्येवं रुद्रोऽपि स्वयमागतः

cakāra bahudānāni lokānāṃ hitakāmyayā | yāvadarcayate hyevaṃ rudro'pi svayamāgataḥ

Désireux du bien des gens, il accomplit de nombreux dons. Et tandis qu’il poursuivait ainsi son culte, Rudra lui-même y vint en personne.
