Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 33

पक्वान्नैर्मोदकाद्यैश्च तर्पयेद्भक्तिभावतः । तर्प्यमाणे द्विजैकस्मिन्सहस्रफलमश्नुते

pakvānnairmodakādyaiśca tarpayedbhaktibhāvataḥ | tarpyamāṇe dvijaikasminsahasraphalamaśnute

Avec des mets cuits, des modaka et autres offrandes, qu’on les rassasie dans un esprit de dévotion. Quand ne fût-ce qu’un seul brāhmaṇa est ainsi comblé, on obtient un fruit mille fois accru.
