शिशुमेनं समुद्धृत्य पुष्णाम्यौरसवद्ध्रुवम् । किं त्वविज्ञातकुलजं नोत्सहे स्प्रष्टुमुत्तमम्
śiśumenaṃ samuddhṛtya puṣṇāmyaurasavaddhruvam | kiṃ tvavijñātakulajaṃ notsahe spraṣṭumuttamam
«Je vais assurément soulever cet enfant et l’élever comme s’il était mon propre fils. Pourtant, né d’une famille inconnue, je n’ose le toucher en toute assurance.»
