एष ते नृप जामाता चंद्रांगद महाबलः । अस्य वंशमथोत्पत्तिं श्रोतुमिच्छामि तत्त्वतः
eṣa te nṛpa jāmātā caṃdrāṃgada mahābalaḥ | asya vaṃśamathotpattiṃ śrotumicchāmi tattvataḥ
« Ô puissant roi Candrāṅgada, le voici désormais ton gendre. Je souhaite entendre en vérité son lignage et le récit de son origine. »
