परस्वेषु परस्त्रीषु देवब्राह्मण वस्तुषु । तृष्णां त्यज महाबाहो दुर्लभेष्वपि वस्तुषु
parasveṣu parastrīṣu devabrāhmaṇa vastuṣu | tṛṣṇāṃ tyaja mahābāho durlabheṣvapi vastuṣu
Ô toi aux bras puissants, renonce à la convoitise des biens d’autrui, de l’épouse d’un autre, et des possessions des Deva et des Brāhmaṇa, même si elles sont rares et séduisantes.
