Śiva-yogin (teacher/guru speaking to the queen)
Tirtha: Śiva-pada
Type: kshetra
Scene: The mind is depicted as a swan released from nets (attachments), guided by the ‘yantra’ of vairāgya into a luminous ocean labeled Śiva-pada; beyond it, the wheel of rebirth lies broken.
Detachment and disciplined mind culminate in absorption in Śiva, described as the condition for ending rebirth.
No tīrtha is named; “Śiva-pada” is presented as the ultimate spiritual destination.
Cultivation of vairāgya (dispassion) and sustained absorption/meditation in Śiva are prescribed.
