चतुर्दिक्षु प्रधावन्त इतश्चेतश्च सर्वतः । सुपर्णेनाग्निरूपेण दग्धास्ते शलभा यथा

caturdikṣu pradhāvanta itaścetaśca sarvataḥ | suparṇenāgnirūpeṇa dagdhāste śalabhā yathā

Ils coururent vers les quatre directions, çà et là de tous côtés ; mais Suparṇa, sous la forme du feu, les brûla, tels des papillons de nuit.
