अवेदविदुषे नैव ब्राह्मणे सर्वविक्रये । मित्रघ्ने च कृतघ्ने च मन्त्रहीने तथैव च
avedaviduṣe naiva brāhmaṇe sarvavikraye | mitraghne ca kṛtaghne ca mantrahīne tathaiva ca
Qu’on ne le donne pas non plus à un brāhmaṇa ignorant du Veda, ni à celui qui vend tout pour le gain ; ni à l’assassin d’un ami, ni à l’ingrat ; ni encore à celui qui est dépourvu de mantra, impropre à la récitation et au rite védique.
