नन्द्युवाच । त्वयावतरणं चक्रे कपीन्द्रामरहेतुना । तथापि हि कृतं पापमुपभोगेन शाम्यति
nandyuvāca | tvayāvataraṇaṃ cakre kapīndrāmarahetunā | tathāpi hi kṛtaṃ pāpamupabhogena śāmyati
Nandī dit : «Ô seigneur des singes, ta descente en ce monde fut certes pour le bien des dieux. Pourtant, le péché accompli ne s’apaise qu’en en subissant le fruit.»
