ततस्तदा देवपुरोगमो हरो गतो हि वै पुण्यमुनीश्वरैः सह । आगत्य तीर्थं च वरं ददौ तदा निजां कलां तत्र विमुच्य तीर्थे

Alors Hara (Śiva), précédé des dieux et accompagné des saints munis, s’y rendit. À son arrivée, il accorda une grâce et consacra ce lieu comme un tīrtha éminent, y déposant, dans ce gué sacré, une part de sa propre puissance divine.
