श्रीहनुमानुवाच । ब्रह्मरक्षोवधाज्जाता मम हत्या महेश्वर । न पापोऽहं भवेदेव युष्मत्सम्भाषणे क्षणात्
śrīhanumānuvāca | brahmarakṣovadhājjātā mama hatyā maheśvara | na pāpo'haṃ bhavedeva yuṣmatsambhāṣaṇe kṣaṇāt
Śrī Hanūmān dit : « Ô Maheśvara, pour avoir tué un brahmarākṣasa, le péché du meurtre s’est levé sur moi. Ô Seigneur, que je ne demeure pas souillé—ne fût-ce qu’un instant—après m’être entretenu avec Toi. »
