ईश्वर उवाच । स्थापयस्व परं लिङ्गमाज्ञया मम पन्नग । इत्युक्त्वान्तर्हितो देवो जगाम ह्युमया सह
īśvara uvāca | sthāpayasva paraṃ liṅgamājñayā mama pannaga | ityuktvāntarhito devo jagāma hyumayā saha
Īśvara dit : «Ô être-serpent, établis le Liṅga suprême selon mon ordre.» Ayant ainsi parlé, le Deva disparut et s’en alla avec Umā.
