gate cādarśanaṃ deve yuyudhe vṛṣabheṇa saḥ | dvāvetau balināṃ śreṣṭhau yuyudhāte mahābalau

Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating
Tirtha: Revā-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: With Śiva gone from sight, the daitya squares off against Vṛṣabha; two titans clash, dust rising, muscles taut, weapons absent—pure strength and impact.
Even when the Lord withdraws from direct perception, dharma is upheld through His attendants—strength is meaningful when used in service of the Divine.
The broader setting is the Revā Khaṇḍa, connected with the sanctity of the Revā (Narmadā) region, though this verse itself focuses on the narrative combat.
None in this verse; it is narrative description of the conflict.
