ततः स्वभर्तुर्वचनाच्छबरी प्रस्थिता तदा । पप्रच्छ नारीं दृष्ट्वाग्रे दत्त्वाग्रे कमले शुभे
tataḥ svabharturvacanācchabarī prasthitā tadā | papraccha nārīṃ dṛṣṭvāgre dattvāgre kamale śubhe
Alors, sur la parole de son époux, Śabarī se mit en route. Voyant une femme devant elle, elle l’interrogea, après avoir d’abord offert d’auspicieuses fleurs de lotus.
