Tirtha: Revā tīrtha (contextual)
Type: ghat
Scene: On the riverbank, the king reverently places bones on the ground (asthi) and prepares for a ritual bath: removing ornaments, taking water in hands for saṅkalpa, stepping into the river with composed devotion.
A tīrtha-visit becomes fruitful when joined with disciplined rite—reverence, purity, and correct procedure.
The Revā/Narmadā tīrtha context of the Revā Khaṇḍa.
Yathāvidhi snāna (ritual bathing) and the placing/handling of asthi (relics) as part of a sacred rite.
