Type: ghat
Listener: Uttānapāda
Scene: A pilgrim group led by the performer walks silently along a path to a river/ford; a boundary marker behind; ahead, a sign-like emblem of ‘Śūlabheda’ with trident imagery; bathing steps at the water.
Pilgrimage is disciplined worship: restraint of speech and rule-based bathing purify the pilgrim before sacred rites.
Śūlabheda is explicitly named as the place where the prescribed snāna is to be performed.
Observe silence while proceeding; do not cross the boundary; then go to Śūlabheda and perform ritual bathing as per injunction.
