ईश्वर उवाच । साधु साधु महासत्त्व वरं याचस्व दानव । दाताहं याचकस्त्वं हि ददामीह यथेप्सितम्
īśvara uvāca | sādhu sādhu mahāsattva varaṃ yācasva dānava | dātāhaṃ yācakastvaṃ hi dadāmīha yathepsitam
Īśvara dit : « Bien, bien, ô être à la grande âme. Demande une grâce, ô Dānava. Je suis le donateur et toi le demandeur ; ici je t’accorderai ce que tu désires. »
