अन्धक उवाच । यदि तुष्टोऽसि मे देव वरं दास्यसि चेप्सितम् । तदा ददस्व मे देव युद्धं परमशोभनम् । अवद्धस्तपूतो येनाहं लोकान्गन्तास्मि शोभनान्
andhaka uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si me deva varaṃ dāsyasi cepsitam | tadā dadasva me deva yuddhaṃ paramaśobhanam | avaddhastapūto yenāhaṃ lokāngantāsmi śobhanān
Andhaka dit : «Si tu es satisfait de moi, ô Seigneur, et si tu m’accordes la grâce que je désire, alors donne-moi, ô Dieu, un combat d’une splendeur suprême, par lequel, sans entraves et purifié par l’austérité, je puisse gagner des mondes lumineux».
