तस्यास्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा हाहेत्युक्त्वा महामुनिः । निपपात तदा भूमौ छिन्नमूल इव द्रुमः

tasyāstadvacanaṃ śrutvā hāhetyuktvā mahāmuniḥ | nipapāta tadā bhūmau chinnamūla iva drumaḥ

Entendant ses paroles, le grand sage s’écria : «Hélas ! Hélas !» et aussitôt tomba à terre, tel un arbre dont on a tranché les racines.
