Transliteration

nirdhanasyaiva carato na bhayaṃ vidyate kvacit | dhanībhayairna mucyeta dhanaṃ tasmāttyajāmyaham

Translation

Pour celui qui chemine sans richesse, nulle peur ne se trouve nulle part ; mais le riche ne se délivre pas des craintes nées de la richesse. C’est pourquoi je renonce aux biens.
