Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 31

रुधिरं वर्षते देवो मिश्रितं कर्करैर्बहु । अग्निकुण्डेषु विप्राणां हुतः सम्यग्घुताशनः

rudhiraṃ varṣate devo miśritaṃ karkarairbahu | agnikuṇḍeṣu viprāṇāṃ hutaḥ samyagghutāśanaḥ

Le dieu fit pleuvoir du sang, épais et mêlé de nombreux débris rugueux ; et dans les fosses de feu des brāhmaṇas, le Feu sacrificiel—dûment invoqué—reçut l’oblation et s’embrasa.
