Śiva (Śaṅkara)
Tirtha: Jvāleśvara-tīrtha
Type: sangam
Listener: null
Scene: A devotee-king observes a fast at the confluence: seated on darbha, minimal food, hands in japa; above, a vision of Rudra-loka—radiant Śiva realm—appears as the promised destination.
Austerity performed at a sanctified place amplifies purification and directs the devotee toward Śaiva liberation-goals.
The unnamed ‘that tīrtha’ in the immediate Amareśvara/Amarkaṇṭaka–Revā context of this chapter.
Observing anāśaka (fasting) at the tīrtha.
