नान्यो धर्मो भवेत्स्त्रीणां दैवतं हि पतिर्यथा । तथापि तव वाक्येन दानं दत्तं यथाविधि

Transliteration

nānyo dharmo bhavetstrīṇāṃ daivataṃ hi patiryathā | tathāpi tava vākyena dānaṃ dattaṃ yathāvidhi

Translation

Pour les femmes, il n’est pas de dharma comparable à celui de révérer l’époux comme sa divinité. Pourtant, sur ton conseil, j’ai tout de même fait l’aumône selon la règle prescrite.
