आत्मोपमश्च भूतेषु स तीर्थफलमश्नुते । मुण्डनं चोपवासश्च सर्वतीर्थेष्वयं विधिः

ātmopamaśca bhūteṣu sa tīrthaphalamaśnute | muṇḍanaṃ copavāsaśca sarvatīrtheṣvayaṃ vidhiḥ

Celui qui voit tous les êtres comme semblables à lui-même obtient vraiment le fruit du tīrtha. Le rasage de la tête et le jeûne : telle est la règle prescrite en tous les lieux saints.
