यस्यास्ति शक्तिस्तेजो वा क्षत्रियस्य कुलाधमः । धेनुं नयतु मे सद्यः क्षीणायुः सपरिच्छदः

yasyāsti śaktistejo vā kṣatriyasya kulādhamaḥ | dhenuṃ nayatu me sadyaḥ kṣīṇāyuḥ saparicchadaḥ

«Que tout kṣatriya—le plus bas de sa lignée—qui se croit doté de force ou d’éclat, emmène sur-le-champ ma vache; mais sa vie sera tranchée, avec sa suite et ses biens.»
