Narrator (Purāṇic storyteller voice within Revā Khaṇḍa)
Tirtha: Bhārabhūti
Type: ghat
Scene: A narrator-sage addressing an attentive listener at the riverbank; the tīrtha visible behind them; a subtle divine glow around the spoken words, suggesting ‘divyam’ and ‘sarvapāpaharam’.
Śravaṇa (devout listening) to tīrtha-māhātmya is itself purifying and is presented as a means to remove sins.
The tīrtha just named Bhārabhūti is the setting for the narrated itihāsa.
A devotional discipline is implied: ekāgratā (focused attention) while listening to the sacred account.
