उपाध्यायमथोवाच नत्वा देवः कृताञ्जलिः । जले प्रक्षेपयाम्यद्य निष्प्रतिज्ञान् बटून् प्रभो
upādhyāyamathovāca natvā devaḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ | jale prakṣepayāmyadya niṣpratijñān baṭūn prabho
Alors Deva, s’étant incliné devant le maître, les mains jointes, dit : «Seigneur, aujourd’hui je jetterai dans l’eau ces élèves qui ont trahi leur engagement.»
