Brāhmaṇa (teacher/āśrama head)
Scene: The brāhmaṇa teacher, thoughtful, questions how the supreme gift of knowledge can be given; he gestures toward manuscripts, indicating the gravity of transmission.
Knowledge-giving (vidyā-dāna) is supreme, but it must be transmitted through proper means and discipline.
Not a named tīrtha in this verse; the Revā Khaṇḍa context sanctifies the river-region āśrama network.
It elevates vidyā-dāna as a form of dāna, implying structured teaching and eligibility.
