Tirtha: Revā tīrtha milieu (general)
Type: river
Scene: A devotee presents a golden arghya vessel or gold offering before a Śiva-liṅga, while subtle divine presences (devas) are suggested as being pleased in the background.
Generosity is a purifier: dāna harmonizes one with the devas and draws Śiva’s enduring favor.
The Revā/Narmadā tīrtha tradition, where charity is taught as an essential limb of pilgrimage worship.
Perform suvarṇa-dāna and associated offerings (arghya), seeking the pleasure of all devatās and Śaṅkara.
