Type: ghat
Scene: A sanctified river-ford on the Revā; the speaker grants a boon that the place/person will be worshipped at every parvan; devas and Pitṛs are shown taking residence invisibly around the tīrtha.
Sacred time (parvan) and sacred place (tīrtha) together intensify merit, especially when sanctified by Śiva’s presence.
The Revā-bank tīrtha where Śiva vows to dwell with Devas and Pitṛs—identified in the chapter as the Paitāmaha-tīrtha.
Observance and worship on parvan days (key lunar junctions), implying heightened efficacy for śrāddha/tarpaṇa.
