Type: ghat
Listener: Yudhiṣṭhira
Scene: Brahmā, four-faced, seated in deep worship of Śambhu beside the river for an immense span; a liṅga or Śiva presence is implied, with ascetic atmosphere and cosmic time passing.
Even the highest deities honor Śiva through sustained worship; a tīrtha becomes eminent through such divine tapas and devotion.
The same tīrtha just introduced—Bhṛgu-tīrtha/Paitāmaha—where Brahmā is said to have worshiped Śiva.
Ārādhana (propitiatory worship) of Śambhu is exemplified as the key practice associated with the site.
